I have been wanting to share some of the inspiration from last weekend in Madrid and first out is the beautiful 
shop Mestizo, a contemporary store in the neighborhood Chueca. The space with more than 300 square meters
and an impressive height of almost five meters gives the perfect setting for carefully selected products in a 
eclectic mix of modern and traditional, items of very different styles, origins, periods and colors. Inspiring and 
with an inviting atmosphere that makes you wanna stay, Mestizo is well worth a visit.

Last Saturday I had lunch with some friends at PRADO, a beautiful designed restaurant in the center of Lisbon. The 
place has a Scandinavian feeling with a simple design, white walls, furniture in light wood and lots of daylight flooding 
in through the large windows. Combined with the concept of serving Portuguese food made with national, seasonal and 
fresh ingredients this place is well worth a visit. PRADO also have a beautiful designed shop in the same building where 
they sell selected Portuguese products.
